About this camp

FutureBytes - AI & Data Science Camp offers hands-on STEM education in robotics, coding, AI, and engineering for kids. The AI Programmers course is designed for students aged 8-13 (grades 3-8) who are ready to transition from block-based coding to writing real Python programs. No prior coding experience is required, as expert trainers introduce fundamental programming concepts such as variables, data types, conditions, loops, and functions through Python's syntax. Before coding, students learn to think like programmers by designing algorithms and outlining solutions, building programs, games, and simple simulations to solve real-world challenges. This project-based learning environment strengthens analytical thinking and lays a strong foundation for advanced topics like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and automation. Students gain fluency in Python, develop computational and problem-solving skills, and build confidence for advanced coding and AI applications. FutureBytes also offers AI Developers for ages 10-13 (grades 5-8), which introduces AI and machine learning through hands-on, beginner-friendly tools and guided Python projects, exploring how data powers intelligent systems and building entry-level AI models. Additionally, AI Discoverers for ages 7-10 (grades 2-5) introduces coding and AI concepts through Scratch projects, where students learn how machines recognize images, sounds, and respond to speech.

What a typical day looks like

Students spend the majority of their time in the lab, with a one-hour lunch break and two snack breaks. They engage in hands-on projects, designing algorithms, outlining solutions, and building programs, games, or simulations.
